ECONOMIC DIPLOMACY

Economic Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina coordinates activities of diplomatic missions and consular posts of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the sphere of economic presentation of BIH in the world.

The main task of the Economic Diplomacy Department is to attract foreign investment and open new markets for businessmen from our country.

Economic Diplomacy Department regularly analyses economic information from BIH diplomatic missions and consular posts and on that basis it develops and recommends a strategy of BIH economic actions in specific countries.

Economic Diplomacy Department also regularly gathers information on demands for cooperation submitted by different foreign economic entities to BIH diplomatic missions and consular posts and informs, through competent BIH institutions, potential economic partners from BIH.

Economic Diplomacy Department closely cooperates with competent directorates of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BIH, as well as with Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BIH and Foreign Trade Chamber of BIH.
